The woodland style is sometimes called the x-ray style, as it shows the internal spirit of things. My partner, while we lived in Toronto, asked me to paint a condo in the x-ray style. The Indigenous man in the bottom right corner of the painting makes tea while imagining a host of Torontonian characters in the apartments around him in an interdependent ecosystem.
